Look what visited me today
It was only a fleeting visit. Just had enough time to get my camera and snap a few quick shots.

Yeah, great shots. Our visiting hawk was actually perched on the lid of our seed feeder earlier this morning. It would have made a great picture but as soon as I moved to go and get the camera it took off. This bird is getting very camera shy these days.

Hi Rick nice shots of the Hawk are you still having plenty of visits from your local birds? the numbers in my garden are well down since the coldsnap. I was wondering if you being in the same locality are having the same problem. d.b

Hi db. Birds numbers are down. Today no Starlings, only seen 3 Goldfinches, No bullfinch and Greenfinches. Plenty of Sparrows Blue and Great tits 3 Blackbirds and first thing every morning Long tailed tits.

Hi Rick thank you for your reply it would seem that the bird numbers are down a bit, but they are improving every day. Looking forward to the next few weeks when hopefully there will be lots going on.d.b
