Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone on here has done the butterfly count?
You sit somewhere for 15 minutes and record all the butterflies you see. Then you upload your results on to the website : http://www.bigbutterflycount.org/ recording is vital for butterfly conservation. Please give it a go. If you already have... what did you get? This is my list: Large whites, Small whites, Marbled white ( first time seeing this) painted lady tortoiseshells red admirals holly blue small skipper ( another first for me) ringlet and a gatekeeper. I was surprised with my results! |

The weekly Garden Birdwatch run by the BTO has space for recording butterflies on their online form, so I add my garden sightings to that.
