I've been checking out the new Adventurer feeders on the CJ site, & comparing them them with the Defenders, & it struck me that though the Adventurer's capacity is stated in kg, the Defender's is in lb. It seems to me that if all the feeders' capacities were given in kg it would be easier, as the bird seed etc. is supplied in metric quantities. I have read members' praises of the new Adventurer, & wonder if it is in fact any different from the Defender, except with a differently shaped lid.

Thank you for your comment I shall pass these onto the relevant department.
Regarding the Adventurer feeders, these are a much larger capacity feeders than the Defenders, each holding twice the capacity of the equivalent Defender feeder. We have achieved this by increasing the diameter of the tube and to differentiate these new feeders from the others, they have been manufactured in a stylish graphite grey finish.
The dome lid design helps prevent run off rain water entering the feeding tube to prolong the freshness of the food you are providing for your garden visitors.
I hope this helps. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know.
Thanks
