Mrs Reed spotted in the garden yesterday, and Mr Reed has just been sighted on the patio. I hope they stick around for the garden birdwatch!

great maisy, i had reed buntings visit a lot in wales and they seemed to love the bread on the lawn, it may help to keep thier interest with food. hope they stay.

That's great Maise. Do you live out in the country, by the way. I would of thought that going by it's name, you would be more likely to find them in the reed beds.

Edge of town. There's a large bit of grass behind us which gets waterlogged and has reedy type plants in.

When I lived in Essex they were regulars in the garden. Quite a surprise when we first moved in. That was a town garden about three quarters of a mile from open country.

Thoroughly rubbish photo but it proves the presence of 4 Mr Reeds. Shame I wasn't able to get the five that were around later on in one shot.
