Hi Everyone,
I have a couple of questions and if anyone can help I'd be most grateful.
About a week ago I bought some artificial moss to give the birds some extra warmth should they choose to roost in my nest boxes/roosting pods, the artificial moss is actually made for lining hanging baskets, the problem is, it contains lots of fibrous dust, so my first question is, is this dust likely to be harmful to the birds ie. blocking of airways etc..
My second question is to do with the fact that I've lined my nest boxes/roosting pods with the artificial moss and, now, I'm wondering if any potential visitor inspecting the nest boxes might be fooled into thinking, because of the artificial moss, that the nest box is already occupied.
Any ideas anyone?
