I have 2 of the drums from CJ, which I keep bird food in. However you need to be able to distribute small amounts for feeders without exposing the entire amount if possible. I do "Decant" from my bins into a resealable bag I got with some RSPB food and keep that in the house, and 2X 10Kg in the drums in the garage (I hope the sparrows are not listening -- lol :-) ).

Once you open the soft plastic 5Kg bags everything then is exposed and starts to degrade. Also I find this sooooo frustrating as I am disabled and cannot carry the 10Kg bags so have to pay an extra £2 for 2 X 5Kg bags of food, or try and get help with this - -- -I can pay the extra £2 but I think its unfair!!!

VERY much on the credit side the next day delivery is great!!!! Products outstanding -- - - - Yes I have stopped buying from the VERY overpriced RSPB

I must make a correction to my posting above.

I ordered 10Kg of kibbled sunflower seeds and explained my predicament and they were sympathetic and did 2X5Kg

For small amounts, I use Asda 10 litre plastic food containers. They are almost cube shaped with a lid and are only £1.50 in stores that have a kitchenware section.
