Our little Mr Robin is busily feeding two babies from the third brood this year. (Two broods were in our min-greenhouse in April and May)

We have been feeding live mealworms since April and what is really lovely is that Mr Robin is bringing two of the latest babies into the garden to enjoy the mealworms.

I still get my wake up call around 6am from him, so I go out and feed a few off my hand and fill up the caged mealworm feeder.

I have found that when I go out in the evening often one of the babies will come down to the bench and sit on the arm while I'm sitting on the bench filling the feeder and feeding Mr Robin. Very bold for one so young:)

The wonderful thing this evening is that the bold baby came down and took mealworms from my hand. He took a while to brave it, but then came and grabbed one and came back for another. Mr Robin of course will sit on my hand and eat his mealworms in a leisurely fashion!! I guess the baby has picked up on the fact his dad is relaxed around me so I must be okay:o

How lovely that they trust me that much. I feel so honoured:D
