A "choughing" good holiday

I was fortunate enough to spend last week in Bavaria, and chose the best day weather-wise to head into the Alps with the intention of tracking down the cheeky Alpine choughs that my mother told me she'd encountered up there. Sure enough, we were joined by several who happily took the bread we brought for them, and then by several more at the table for lunch!

I had a lovely holiday, thanks! I used to go twice a year to visit my grandparents, but somehow haven't been for about 8 years after moving out of my parents house and getting my own place, mortgage etc! So... very much a nostalgia trip.
