Spotted this collared dove in the garden the other day. It's much paler than the others, and has distinctive white feathers.

Has anyone else spotted any paler coloured birds? Possibly more albinos?
I'm just wondering if it's "the in-thing" this year? :)

Funny you should mention this. about a week ago I spotted a report of a white starling with some pics.
Also two members at the photography forum I frequent were having trouble cloning out an apparent over exposure on one part of a dragonfly body. When the second showed up (different make of dragonfly, and location) it became clear it was not an OE, but a white spot over a large portion of their normally brown/black backs!
I get the feeling something rather odd could perhaps be going on here! Fetch the big torch Scully! :D
Could just be that because we noticed it, we are noticing more of it, as that can happen too.
