My garden birds

Hi there, I have recently just had a couple of Goldfinches visit my seed feeder! I am so chuffed as they are one of my favourite birds. I bought two feeders; a plastic discovery small seed feeder and a small green peanut feeder. The seed feeder has Hi-Energy No Mess in it and I have standard peanuts in the other one. The most popular bird at the feeders at the moment is the Starling which I get every day, I love watching them squabbling and arguing (I have hung the feeders on an apple tree in the middle of the garden). Next most common is the Chaffinch and they are gorgeous with their white wing flashes. Others that have visited include Woodpigeon, Collared Dove, Greenfinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock and House Sparrow (the first two and last two mainly feeding from under the feeders). Are you sure you are not in my garden? :p

I think the only difference is I get coal tits, robin (recently two which is about right for the time of year) and black birds.

Used to see a nut hatch, thrush, siskin and black cap but not this year so far :(
