Nest box location

I would love to put a nest box in my garden, the only problem is there is nowhere as i have only shrubs as trees would look out of place as its only a small garden the fence around the grden only comes to 4ft in height as a larger fence would spoil the view. Any suggestions:cool:

Which birds do you have in your garden? That will also affect where you site the nest boxes.

I have a nest box attached to my house wall about 10 feet above the ground . It was occupied by a pair of bluetits the first year it was put up and almost every year since. The year it wasnt used I had put up a second box in a tree and they used that instead.
