Anyone help

i was trying to attach a picture onto a thread but it said it was too big or something, it was from my pictures (microsoft) is there anyway around this problem

I believe you have to use the forum attachments and upload the image here. There's instructions in the members photos forum. You need to resize your image to below 1024pixels along longest length and I don't think the photo can be higher than 800. Which makes sense as you can't see anything bigger in one go unless you have an amazing screen resolution.

The file size maximum for each photo is nearly 300kb, so huge.

'pix re-sizer' is a good program for resizing your photos.

Just Google 'PIXresizer' and you'll find it. It's quick to download and very easy to use (just a couple of mouse clicks and you're done).

Also try www.irfanview.com - very good free graphics software, and you can do nice things like batch resizing too.
