It's nice to read that Sparrows are still the most frequent visitors in some gardens. When I first started feeding the birds a few years ago, we had a reasonably large group visit our garden, the noise was wonderful :) But now we only get one or two visit at a time :(
The starlings and jackdaws have taken over. The noise they make is not quite so welcome, although the jackdaws are preferable to the squabbling starlings!
