Nest Boxes

Hi im new i just bought 3 nest boxes and i have cat around my street andi wanted to know if they nest are they in danger also wheres the best wa to put boxes?

Birds are in danger wherever they nest, if not from cats, from squirrels and in some cases other birds, at least by putting up nest boxes you're giving them a fighting chance.

As to where to site them, the higher the better and out of the hot sun,some camouflage is useful too, ie ivy or some other foliage but make sure that the entrance to the box isn't covered, birds like to get in and out quickly.
