Two more good pics, ZukiAndSid! I would suggest, though, that you don't hang up fat balls in the netting they come in, as it has been known for birds to trap their feet in them. An ideal alternative is a small metal fat ball feeder which can be refilled when empty. I have one with a lid on top that holds four, and a round one made of spiral wire, which just holds one. You should see the starlings trying to perch on the latter!

Thanks for your comment about pic and also about the fat balls. I have removed them and I will get the ones you have suggested. We are very new to this but for the past month have spent every spare min we have in the garden just watching. For the hours of enjoyment we have had I would like to reward our feathered mate,s in the right way. So thanks for the info.
