Heron

I saw this bird flying around (there was actually two but only one landed) while I was watching the birds in my garden and was totally shocked to see it in an urban city :eek:. Someone must have one BIG pond (with not many fish). The image quality is not great as the Heron landed about 5 gardens along from mine. Maybe I should start throwing dead fish out on the lawn.;)

We are more rural, but the Heron looks so big flying low over the gardens - when you are used to Blackbird sized birds. Like you, I suspect a neighbour has a large pond..

BeebeeMaybe it thought the pegs were cooked King Prawns hanging up for the taking. I bet a girl lives there. Don't start looking at your goldfish please !!:rolleyes:
