Last year i spotted these chicks on their own, i left them all day to see if
mum would come and find them but she didn't. I took them on the boat and looked after them for a week letting them roam round during the day and they would come back to the boat at night. One night they didn't come back. I know one didn't survive but I think the other two come to the boat as one lets me pick her up out of the water!:)

They are sooo adorable. You should be proud playing dad to triplets . Any chance of posting a recent picture of the surviving two?

Fair play, Even if one survived it would have being great as the chances of survival on their own would have being less.

I got these tonight, one on the roof, the other in the water both females. The one on the jetty has been on the jetty in her custom made nests for the past two years and has been looking at her new nest for a few days now, not using the hotels as she gets fed on the nest within arms reach of the boat...

Beebee. Both of them have a admirer but it is a bit brutal at this time of year! The one that nests on the jetty does cover her eggs up and goes off for normal exercise and food during the day i just give her a bit of supper if she wants some, she soon tells me if she is ok.
