Upside down Sparrows

Thought you all might like this!
I have started hanging out greese balls, as the colder days are approaching, and they hang from the bird table. The beautiful little tits manage all this, with shall we say one leg tied behind their backs, but the sparrows are having a hard time. They cling on desperately, and upside down is not their ideal position, the wind blows and they fall off, but start again soon after. However, they are not allowed access when the tits are around, so I suppose there is a pecking order? I'm glad to see that there are so many sparrows though!

There's definitely a pecking order amongst the sparrows in my garden - only certain males are allowed, then other males, then the females.

Look out for your dominant male - out of all of them, he'll have the biggest black bib on his chest!
