Hover Fly

I had a perfect image of this rather large Hoverfly lined up in my viewfinder, just about to take the shot when someone walked past and it moved. It didn't go too far away buy do you think it would turn around ?? oh no, not him, so this is what I got. ;)

It a 'Volucella pellucens' by the way for those that might be interested

I have to say love the all round, fabulous shot of the Hoverfly. They are not the not peaceful of insects to photograph because of their jerky movements in mid-air - but you have done it - !!!! :):)

Love the angle, and the image all together - well done :D
