My blue tits fledged over 2 weeks ago, since then i have seen them around with the parents.

Anyway today i noticed the male (very easy to tell its him) is going back into the box with a mate, possibly a new one or the same female im not sure.

Could they be thinking of raising another brood? anyone know if this happens?

thanks

Good luck its sounds as if you will have another new family! :):)

Blue Tits had 1-2 broods in one season only.

It all depends of the food source of mainly green caterpillers.

Blue Tits start breeding mid-April time, and can produce a lot of eggs. Eggs numbers can be up to 16 eggs.
