After many years as a kid trying to get the tits to nest in a box and failing. Within 2 months now i get them nesting (not that im complaining).

The nest box is high up on the wall of the house. I first saw them going in easter friday and upto today they are still taking nesting material in. Does it take over a week to build a nest?

I wish i had a camera in the box, its hard not knowing whats going on in there. Anyway fingers crossed it goes all to plan.

Would they be roosting in there as well?

cheers

the box is up high on the house, so its very easy to see them flying towards it..also they are usually around in the garden..its just full of the usual finches today...not very hopeful

oh well next year i will have a camera and know exactly whats going on.
