Too late?!!

Yes i am a bad mother and have just realised that i haven't cleaned out one of my bird boxes! Will the blue tits used a box with an old nest in or is there still time to remove the old nest??

So what did happen Emma? We were very late putting one of our cleaned and dried ones back, maybe late March, and although a couple of blue tits have had a look, nothing is nesting in there. Hopefully, we will both learn the error of our ways next year! My other nest box is badly positioned (hubby put it right by the clothes line!) so I will be without babes this year. I think we have some blackbirds in the hedge but will miss the tits. :(

I have put up 2 boxes from next door who moved out! We have had blue tits and great tits looking in them but dont think they have nested but im looking in case i disturb them!!

Hello i did reply but not sure where its gone as i cant see it!!!! still new to all this! All ended well with a great tit moving in 3 days later, i also have blue tits nesting in a box and have got fingers crossed that someone will move into my camera nesting box!!!!! cant wait!
