Does anyone know any suppliers in scotland of cheap but good quality bird seed?

Eeeeeeerrrrrr!, no, but if you were to enter 'wildbird seed, scotland' or perhaps 'pet stores, scotland' into a search engine, I'm sure you would come up with a few urls adresses.
PS>..Does not your local newspaper advertise such shops?

Check out the Bird Clubs around your area - they may, like ours, operate a discount scheme with a local supplier. Sorry, CJ. What I do is supplement the basic wild bird mix with black sunflower seedsetc., and nyjer seed - i.e. the speciality stuff that costs more from CJ. I'm not mean, just on a very limited budget and I find this is the most cost effective way of providing food and nutrition. Peanuts are not to be skimped on but (again sorry, CJ) our bird club gets germ free peanuts at a discount. Having said that, CJ's service is excellent as is quality; it's just I have to budget and I know the costs of delivery to a Scottish island well exceed what I actually pay.
