I'm disappointed that you haven't got an entry for the Nightingale. Someone on the messageboard said that the Blackcap was sometimes known as the "Northern Nightingale", and having seen the lovely video of the singing Blackcap, I hoped to compare them. From the beautiful song of the Blackcap, I imagine the nickname is most appropriate!

Although the Blackcap has a fairly nice song, I wouldn't ever compare it to that of Nightingale. Nightingale is premier division, Blackcap is a league down to my ears.
I suspect Cj tends to concentrate their factfiles on birds most likely to appear to the general public, Nightingales are scarce summer visitors and even when you can hear one, you'll have a mighty struggle to actually see the bird.

Having said that, Pied Flycatcher is in their factfiles, and that is one very scarce bird. Maybe Cj's HQ is in prime Pied Flycatcher territory?
